Hearing Seminar coming in June
In March our audiologists attended the 12th Annual Asia-Oceania ORL-HNS
Congress. The letters stand for Oto-Rhin-Laryngology – Head and Neck Surgery,
the conference was a collaboration between the international ORL surgeons, and the New Zealand Audiological Society. The Congress was a great one, with many renowned international speakers attending, for both the audiology and ORL specialities.
Our audiologists enjoyed updating their audiology knowledge, as well learning about advances occurring in the ORL field.
It has been a while since we have shared our knowledge in a seminar, and it feels like the right time now, armed as we are with all this new information from our recent conference. We would love you, your friends and family, to join us in June for the following seminar:
How to get the most out of your hearing
The talk will cover:
- hearing instruments, accessories, and assistive listening devices
- training programmes to improve hearing skills
- strategies to improve communication
This presentation will be interesting for those who are wondering about their hearing, as well as those who already wear hearing instruments, and will be followed by refreshments (tea, coffee and scones with cream and jam).
If you would like to attend, please contact Debbie
(phone 264 0405 or e-mail debbie.s@russellhearing.co.nz),
and she will give you further details about this event, as they come to hand.
